Costume measurement sheets rehearsal rules and cast agreement

Issued comp tickets.

Please respond to this email so I know that you are going to receive them.

For those of you not present the rehearsal rules and cast agreement are attached, I've also attached the contact sheet.  Don't print it out yet as everyone has not had a chance to proof it.

We know you are doing this show as a volunteer, and we appreciate it so when thinking about your conflicts we would like to be priority #4.  Health, Work, Family, then South Pacific.

Next Rehearsal/Schedule

The full rehearsal schedule will be posted asap.  We'll do a few weeks shortly then the rest probably after Christmas.  To find the schedule on line go to thegeorgetownpalace.com under volunteers click on rehearsal schedules then choose South Pacific.  Except for below the rehearsal report or an email will trump the google calendar.

Also, you may be called on a day you have a conflict, if we have it on the sheet you turned in we know, but circumstances sometimes dictate that we have to run that anyhoo.

Accident/Incident

Dumb Stuff it's fun to find out

Proust is pronounced Proost.  Although Nellie may pronounce it Proust perhaps?

Tokyo Rose: Tokyo Rose (alternate spelling Tokio Rose) was a generic name given by Allied forces in the South Pacific during World War II to any of approximately a dozen English-speaking female broadcasters of Japanese propaganda. The intent of these broadcasts was to disrupt the morale of Allied forces listening to the broadcast.[1] American servicemen in the Pacific often listened to the propaganda broadcasts to get a sense, by reading between the lines, of the effect of their military actions. Farther from the action, stories circulated that Tokyo Rose could be unnervingly accurate, naming units and even individual servicemen; though such stories have never been substantiated by documents such as scripts and recorded broadcasts, they have been reflected in popular books and films such as Flags of Our Fathers.[2] Similar rumors surround the propaganda broadcasts of Lord Haw-Haw and Axis Sally.[3]
